Snijder Lab Wins Precision Medicine Award 2025 for Pharmacoscopy Technology

The Tumor Profiler Consortium congratulates Prof. Berend Snijder and the Snijder Lab on receiving the Precision Medicine Award 2025 from Oxford Global for "Biggest Technology Impact of the year". The award recognises their pioneering work on pharmacoscopy, a functional precision medicine platform.

Pharmacoscopy uses image-based single-cell analysis to evaluate drug responses in patient biopsies, enabling personalised treatment decisions. The technology has shown promising results in clinical trials for haematological cancers and is being advanced through spin-off companies Prevision Medicine and Graph Therapeutics in precision oncology and immunology.

Prof. Snijder is a group leader at the Botnar Institute of Immune Engineering and ETH Zurich, as well as at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Zurich and the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics.

Congratulations to Prof. Snijder and his laboratory on this outstanding recognition.

Award announced: 2 October 2025
